North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth delivered her second State of the Town address at the Town of North Hempstead's Clubhouse at Harbor Links. It was part of a luncheon program hosted by the League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset, who have been hosting the event for nearly three decades.

The Town of North Hempstead welcomed students and their families and friends to the "Yes We Can" Community Center in Westbury on January 16th for the Town's 3rd Annual "Trashion Show" sponsored by Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union (NEFCU). The "Trashion Show," which is organized by the Town's Office of Sustainability, features clothing and accessories created from recycled materials.

The 4th Annual KidStock at North Hempstead Beach Park featured special guest Tim Kubart from Sprout Channel TV show "The Sunny Side Up," and an array of bands that playing a blend of Folk, Rock, Kid Pop, and Kindie Rock. The musical line-up is highlighted by Grammy nominees Brady Rymer and Milkshake, as well as Tim and the Space Cadets.

Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, along with Councilwoman Viviana Russell, Councilman Peter Zuckerman, and Town Clerk Wayne Wink, joined with hundreds of members of the community to National Night Out: America's Night Out Against Crime.

Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink, Councilman Peter Zuckerman and Councilwoman Anna Kaplan attended the Annual senior FunDay Monday Health Fair on July 28th at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington. The fair provided residents with practical assistance in the areas of physical, emotional, recreational, and financial health.

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Congressman Steve Israel teamed up to present a Veterans Casework Seminar at the Williston American Legion Post 144 in Williston Park on July 14. The seminar will provide veterans with information on benefits they are entitled to.

"The Cast of Beatlemania" is one of the most popular performances during North Hempstead's summer concert series. Hundreds of residents attended this year's concert at Michael J. Tully Park Stadium.
On June 4th, North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Congressman Steve Israel and the North Hempstead Town Council proclaimed the Town of North Hempstead a "Purple Heart Town," joining other towns throughout Long Island and New York that have recognized those who were injured or killed in combat while serving their country.

The Grand Street School in New Cassel was demolished on June 30th in order to make way for an affordable senior housing development. It has been 44 years since the building was used as an elementary school, but former students of Grand Street gathered with Town officials at a recent ceremony to say a final farewell.

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board welcomed thousands to North Hempstead Beach Park for the Annual Memorial Day Commemoration and Fireworks Extravaganza honoring those who sacrificed their lives in defense of our nation. 

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth co-hosted a Senior Expo at Clinton G. Martin Park on May 14th in conjunction with several other local elected officials including U.S. Congressman Steve Israel, County Executive Ed Mangano, State Senator Jack Martins, and Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel.
