Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth visits North Shore University Hospital for a tour and to recognize volunteers who have dedicated countless hours to helping the hospital and its patients.
North Hempstead Town Clerk Wayne Wink, Supervisor Judi Bosworth, and the North Hempstead Town Board joined officials from the County and the State, as well as local veterans organizations, religious institutions and fire departments, to take part in the Town's annual September 11 memorial service.
The Hometown USA was the last FunDay Monday of the 2014 summer season. Residents joined together for a celebration of American traditions with a special salute to the Armed Forces. The event was held on August 25th at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington.
With great weather and hundreds in attendance, the Town of North Hempstead hosted the first ever BeachFeast celebration on September 14th at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington. The food & drink festival marked the final event of the summer season for the Town. Attendees were treated to delicious food, beer and wine.
